Some people think that job satisfaction is more important than job security. Others think that people cannot expect to enjoy a job and that having a permanent job is more important. Discuss both views and give your opinion.


In Today's day and age, Job has become crucial for humans to earn their bread and secure their future. Some people believe that having a permanent job is beneficial than that of self contentment, while some part of public opine that work satisfaction is more critical than secured employment. I am with the opinion of the former statement and share the critiques in the following paragraphs. 

On the one hand, younger generation feel that satisfaction in the job has the top most priority for stable environment. Working at a place that gives pleasure not only helps them personally to grow professionally but also to lead a healthy life. It enables the employees to learn new skills and work with additional enthusiasm. Moreover, it is obvious that successful professional life means contented personal life and therefore, such families will lead a happy life. For instance, workforce of top Multinational Software Companies such as Microsoft, Infosys, TCS, etc are leading a blissful life. But what if the individual is shifting between multiple employments in order to attain job satisfaction? These individuals will struggle after a point to even secure a job and have a livelihood. 

On the other hand, permanent employment is the focus of other individuals, even though it does not fulfill contentment. Working in a secured employment boosts confidence and encourages a professional to work hard. Moreover, life-long employment is necessary for the constant salary in order to fulfill the basic needs. Hence, it is apparent that people without insecurity of losing their jobs are delighted, and eventually their families enjoy sense of happiness. For example, staff and families of government organizations enjoy their life of being satisfied in terms of constant inflow of income. 

In conclusion, secured profession or satisfaction in the professional life, both have different values in everyone's lives. But I believe, Job security takes precedence over contented career. The main reason is due to peace and health that comes from having a stable employment.

Have you ever been to any island? Yes, I have! Actually, I lived on an island for 3 months back in 2016. My mother was offered to work at a resort for 2 years, so I joined them there for 3 months.  Isl and life was quite an interesting experience! Are there any islands in your country? Yes, there are. There is one famous island called X, famed for its  crystal clear  water and white sands. I’ve heard the pagodas are very interesting to visit there, as well.
