IELTS WRITING TASK 2 - SRILEKHA KANDADAI
Nowadays managers and team leaders in different organizations are much younger compared to the past. What are the reasons for this? Is it a positive or negative development?
During the present, with developments in society, education, and never-ending growth in modernity, there are endless opportunities for young learners to progress and achieve a higher level of academic proficiency. Moreover, many people nowadays are establishing their own companies and are becoming entrepreneurs at a very young age and that brings us to wonder why it happens.
Probably one of the reasons for the above-mentioned change is that children are developing a mindset of economic strategists and that of a business manager at the very early stages of their life. Not only does this bring a handful of experience for further progress but, it also saves a lot of time for more opportunities to grasp. For an instance, I know a friend of mine who started his own Graphic Designing business for about 2 years and he was only 20 then. Throughout the whole time of building his business, he gained a lot of experience, network and was able to bring him a considerable amount of fortune. Not an exception, this also rendered his mind and logic to think like that of an entrepreneur giving him a lot of advantages to deal with his future clients.
Whilst being the popular choice in the youth, it brings a lot of risks that one has to deal with to begin their journey. In contrast to the positive changes above that it brings, there are high chances of monetary loss. What if they become bankrupt at a very young age.? Furthermore, the lack of practical experience for some entrepreneurs, a lot of obstacles will come in their way of attaining success. For those who expected early accomplishments and achievements for their life-long dreams, it is likely that their hopes will drown due to disappointments, which brings a lot of negativity and even impact their mental health.
To sum up, becoming a company director or team leader will most likely boost your leadership abilities and if you are lucky enough, it will also bring a lot of fortune along with it. But to those who are incapable of grasping the principles or leading, failures will cut down their hopes and put them in several mental health issues.
