IELTS WRITING TASK 2 - DIRECT ESSAY -KUNAL MAHESHWARI

Pollution around the world is becoming a serious problem, do you think this a problem that should be solved internationally or a local level?

The predicament of pollution across the globe is fetching very consequential. I think some major steps must be taken at a regional level so that we could get rid off from this issue regionally and later on globally.

Firstly, pollution is a contamination/addition of pollutant particles into the environment which has a harmful effect on natural habitat and mother nature to a very great extent. It is playing a vital role in the imbalance of the environment, climate change, and global warming. For example, the pollutant particle in the air, water, soil disturbed the natural cycle of the environment and these debris particles is the main reason for the rising temperature in surroundings which ultimately leads to global warming. And also, it has a hurtful impact on human health, some common diseases which are faced by human beings caused by pollution are chest pain, cardiovascular diseases, and respiratory diseases.

On the other hand, this hurtful problem has a drastic impact on society, so it must be resolved on a global level but international law/guidelines on pollution could not serve the purpose because there is a huge chance of violation of guidelines/laws, so it all starts with little effort at a country level. For example, switching on E-technology and try to avoid the automotive runs on fuel, taking public -transport which majorly helps to reduce air-pollution, proper disposal on industry waste according to the guidelines of government so that we can rid of from water pollution.

To conclude, undoubtedly pollution is the biggest threat for living beings on planet earth which acts as a slow poison for the society. However, sudden steps are not very effective in defeating this enemy, small steps at the country level could bring a win over pollution.
