An increasing number of people are buying what they need online. What are the advantages and disadvantages for both individuals and companies to shopping online?  

In the past few years, purchasing products online has just become a cup of tea for the people in this world. Companies have also started shifting their businesses to online mode to adapt to the changing needs of the customers. Buying and selling items in online mode have a few surprising positives and some shocking negatives which are transparently discussed in the following paragraphs.

Purchasing products in online mode has just made human's life much easier; the biggest advantage which made people buy their daily essentials through online mode is the availability of products at their doorstep. Online shopping has also bought huge profits to the companies in the form of increasing revenue and decreasing expenditure costs. Online payment option, which has evolved through online shopping, has just become an added advantage for both clients and vendors. E-commerce has started selling products to customers from different origins by breaking the concept of boundaries and barriers and by eliminating the differentiation of products by manufacturers in different countries.

Some shocking facts which have turned into negatives of online shopping are delay in product delivery; many people have opted for online mode because of its beauty of delivering products at their doorstep, but there may be a delay in delivering of few products due to some unexpected reasons which have turned into the major drawback of online shopping. E-commerce has also stopped focusing on the quality of products, which has also become an unexpected demerit for the clients. Many small vendors from different sectors who could not sell their products through online mode have got affected because of e-commerce.

In conclusion, while there are few minuses of online shopping, Many vendors got huge profits by selling their products online and people have also saved a lot of money by purchasing products online at cheaper prices.

Have you ever been to any island? Yes, I have! Actually, I lived on an island for 3 months back in 2016. My mother was offered to work at a resort for 2 years, so I joined them there for 3 months.  Isl and life was quite an interesting experience! Are there any islands in your country? Yes, there are.
