IELTS WRITING TASK 2 - DISCUSS BOTH SIDES - SATYA

Some people believe that allowing children to make their own choices on everyday matters ( such as food, clothes, and entertainment) is likely to result in a society of individuals who only think about their own wishes. Other people believe that it is important for children to make own decisions about matters that affect them.

Discuss both sides and give your opinion.

 

 It is more obvious that children in this hyper – modernized society possess their own choosing options in all sorts of matters related to them. Some people convict that, if the youngsters are allowed to make choices only for their requisite requirements, they acquire a quality of thinking about them alone, irrespective of others’ emotions, whereas, others’ belief is that, it is predominantly pivotal to captivate the young minds to take decisions about the matters that create some impacts on their personalities. Which of these qualities should be inculcated in – depth amongst the children? I will pen down the facts in the forthcoming paragraphs and conclude with my conceptions at the end.

 

On one hand, if the young prodigies are incentivized to make the decisions only for their basic needs such as food, clothes, entertainment ,etc.., they will not bother about the significant situations which they come across in their life which is more essential than everyday matters. In other words, these sorts of youths will always think about their convenience, neglecting others’ emotional feelings, manifesting the attitude of being coward. Furthermore, children with this behavior, will not aid in uplifting the society ,as well as, will not involve in any constructive community activities ,and also lag in  qualities such as love and compassion ,camouflaging with the environment, tremendous tolerance, mingling with social members,etc…,

 

On the controversial side, it is more evident that, if the children were given sufficient space to make decisions about matters which could be a watershed moment in their life, it will be extremely easy for them to maneuver in the appropriate direction always without any chaos. They can have independent thoughts about their future without any bodies interruptions which can give concrete confidence for their parents that, their young kiddies will often expose the best in his/ her life. Moreover, they esteem others’ feelings and always curious that ,their choices should not create any negative impacts for the living society. For instance, if the youngsters were allowed to decide their own careers/fields, obviously,  it will assist them to ramp up in their status and also enable them to sense the state of complacency.

 

In conclusion, in my vantage, it is more important to allow the children to make their own wishes on everyday matters  which will ascend their happiness to a greater extent, while, it is equally essential to afford some space to decide their fantabulous futuristic life which succours in providing jazzier and joyful life.
