Increasing the price of petrol is the best way to solve growing traffic and pollution problems.

To what extent do you agree or disagree?

What other measures do you think might be effective?

 

Today we are surviving in the hyper – modernized society where each and everybody aspires to lead a ravishing and luxurious life, especially the utilization of vehicles in a large amount, owing to the overwhelming population, which in turn, results in tremendous traffic on the road ,as well as, mixing of problematic pollutants into the atmosphere. It is a common opinion that ramping up the petrol fare can resolve this sober issue to a greater extent. Is this the best way to iron out the issue? I partially agree to this assertion and I will pen down my viewpoints in the subsequent paragraphs and conclude with my conceptions at the end.

 

On one side, if the rate of petroleum products were ascended, it would ignite the people’s mind-set to switch onto alternative sources of energy which can curtail the atmospheric and acoustic pollution. In other words, the citizens will commence to resort the public transport and car pooling, which in turn, neglect the mammoth traffic issue and also environmental degradation. Furthermore, people can conserve the fossil fuels for future which is at an alarming rate at present ,as well as , aids in inculcating the healthy lifestyles such as walking, bicycling ,etc.., In addition, colossal amount of accidents on road can be dragged down if this astonishing action enforced effectively in society.

 

On the flip side, it cannot be assured that this idea can bring tremendous transformation amongst the residents ,in order to, tackle these meddles, since it would not be efficacious to transpose the behaviors of people. For instance, it is more evident that, in India, the cost of petroleum products are flickering frequently on daily basis which is least bothered by social members as they are readily available to buy ,so as to, move on with  their quotidian life. Moreover, implementing these sorts of laws, obviously, will not generate any astonishing awareness in the midst of people, perhaps , it will significantly rise the hatred  among the administrators who were radically responsible for this.

 

To encapsulate, it is more beneficial, if government sectors chart out some requisite plans to resolve the ever- growing problems for society ,specially ,environment related messes, while, the required actions should be done logically which could be a watershed moment to bring the stupendous solutions for the prescribed problems.

Have you ever been to any island? Yes, I have! Actually, I lived on an island for 3 months back in 2016. My mother was offered to work at a resort for 2 years, so I joined them there for 3 months.  Isl and life was quite an interesting experience! Are there any islands in your country? Yes, there are. There is one famous island called X, famed for its  crystal clear  water and white sands. I’ve heard the pagodas are very interesting to visit there, as well.
