Tourism is an ever-growing industry. What are the benefits do you think tourism brings to individuals and society?


In this contemporary world, tourism has not only attracted every individual but also the entire community who earn numerous benefits. Tourism provides a source of income and economic growth to its country as well as it gives a joyful experience to every tourist. This essay illustrates various kinds of advantages and benefits to individuals and society.

To start with, from the past few decades there has been an advancement in the exploration and travel system, which has brought many advantages not only to the countries economic growth but also to its reputation. With a steady increase and growth in tourism, there are more chances of growth in education. Moreover, different cultures and traditions can be experienced, which can build beautiful relationships between each other and also improves communication skills effectively. Some people can find their inner peace by exploring new places, which can help them to improve their confidence.

On the other hand, nowadays, the tourism sector is recruiting more unemployed people which can build accountability and responsibility. People can experience different traditions and cultures and can also learn various languages which can build a friendly nature between nations. For instance, due to more visitors in America, the English language expanded rapidly. With the development and an increase in tourism, it can bring name and fame to every nation.

To conclude, the tourism industry plays a crucial role not only in developing the economic growth of a nation but also can reduce unemployability and poverty, which may result in the overall development of the nation.

Have you ever been to any island? Yes, I have! Actually, I lived on an island for 3 months back in 2016. My mother was offered to work at a resort for 2 years, so I joined them there for 3 months.  Isl and life was quite an interesting experience! Are there any islands in your country? Yes, there are. There is one famous island called X, famed for its  crystal clear  water and white sands. I’ve heard the pagodas are very interesting to visit there, as well.
