Some experts believe that it is better for children to begin learning a foreign language at primary school rather than secondary school.
Do the advantages of this outweigh the disadvantages.
Language enacts as a bridge to communicate with people which should be
taught to the children deliberately, yet, it is more pivotal to know a foreign
language, in addition to, a native language, which in turn, aids to ramp up the
self – reliance of the students, in order to, interact with different sectors
of people. Some people convicted that, it is more beneficial for children if they
commence learning a foreign language when they are pursuing primary classes
rather than in high schools. Does this bring a positive or negative development
amongst the school-goers? I will elucidate the virtues and vices in the
forthcoming paragraphs and conclude with my conceptions at the end.
On one hand, if the young kiddies were initiated to learn a foreign
language in primary sections, it will ultimately enhance their wide range of
profundity. In other words, junior students often have extreme enthusiasm to
learn their subjects, obviously, it would be the appropriate moment to insert
the language learning in their curriculum. In addition, children can be made
strong in fundamentals of that particular linguistic in their primary classes
where they are curious to know mammoth information, which, assists the mentors
to mould their children positively and efficaciously.
On the contrary, if the young students were stuffed with whopping subjects,
it will ascend their burden to a greater extent, perhaps, generates a stressful situation for them. Adolescents possess enough maturity, so that, additional
courses can be accomplished by them in teenage. Moreover, primary pupils will
not have the significant seriousness to learn a foreign language which squander
the time and energy of the teachers, whereas, they could be incentivized to
boast a play-way method of learning which affords the happiest and joyful
moments for them.
In conclusion, in my vantage, it is more essential to pursue a foreign
language at young ages which can be constructed effectively in the minds of
children from the beginning, while, it will be more advantageous if the
additional courses were established in the high school level where youths will
manifest their eagerness to learn a lot.
