IELTS WRITING TASK 2 - DISCUSS BOTH VIEWS - SATYA

Some people say History is one of the most important school subjects. Other people think that, in today’s world, subjects like Science and Technology are more important than History.

Discuss both views and give your opinion.

 

School is the most pristine place where we get opportunities in order to widen our wisdom deliberately. Some people put forward the assertion that learning our pasts is considered to be a more pivotal subject, whereas, others' perception is that establishing the students in the arenas of Science and Technology are more significant than History. Will this assist the kids, if they are engaged to be extremely enthusiastic in a specific field? I will pen down my viewpoints in the upcoming paragraphs and conclude with my convictions at the end.

 

On one hand, it is more essential for all the individuals to know about their ancestors and their lifestyles which were followed by them, certainly, aid them to correlate with their modern culture and the modifications happened around the years. In other words, If the school-goers learn History, it will succour them to know about the wide range of cultures, languages, astonishing administrators, and their achievements, etc.., existed globally. For instance, it is our flashbacks which mentored meticulously so as to aware of the invincible incidents happened before and after in our independent India and also the stupendous sacrifices done by our courageous commanders.

 

On the contrary, it is more evident that we are residing in the hyper – modernized globe where each and every task can be accomplished only with the bolster of technological devices. To supplement, when an individual has surplus skills in handling the technology-based equipment, then he/ she can rule the roost with his / her multi-talents,  obviously, it could be gained greatly, if it is inserted in their school curriculum to a greater extent. Moreover, practical based prowesses are more requisite and inevitable to survive in this practical life which can ascend them to make a fantabulous future clouded by superior science and terrific technology. Take, for example, owing to the in - depth interest exposed in tutoring the scientific skills, many  young prodigies were commenced to create their own applications for the welfare of the people with the fabulous facilities.

 

To encapsulate, in my vantage, knowing about our pasts is more important which afford the mammoth information about the heritage,  robust rulers, their successes and defeats, infrastructures, civilizations, etc…, which make us feel proud of our forefathers, while, updating ourselves with regards to modern skills, ultimately, ramp up  to ace in life.
