IELTS WRITING TASK 2 - DISCUSS BOTH VIEWS - SADIQ HUSSAIN

Some people believe children grow better in the city while others believe the countryside is the better choice. Discuss both the views and give your opinion.

The place where children spend their childhood plays a predominant role in today’s modern and evolving society. Though there are many people who sturdily believe that the cities are better places for younger whilst others prefer to choose the countryside as a better choice for their children. In the following paragraphs, let me address both the views along with my opinion in the end.

At the outset, most of the parents significantly desire metropolitan and cosmopolitan geographies for their children’s growing phase considering the numerous trending and advanced knowledge that teenagers can get, which will further certainly be conducive to their forthcoming educational and professional ventures. Further, many believe that exposure to such day-to-day challenging lifestyles for children will certainly prepare them to consciously be proactive, face, and overcome any difficulties with ease in their lives.

On the contrary, there are many parents who acknowledge that the rural lifestyle will be extremely beneficial for their children in terms of healthy nurturing and awareness regarding the traditions and core values of their ancestors. In addition, they strongly believe that the pollution-free nature and abundance of healthy dietaries in their upbringing stage will highly benefit the youngsters in building a stronger physical and psychological system for leading vigorous life ahead.

To conclude, I strongly opine that the children should get the awareness and exposure of both the environments wherefrom the countryside if they gain the cultural values and health benefits, on the other hand, nourishment in city lifestyle will equally help in building stronger capabilities which play a vital role to challenge and stand strong in the current competitive world.
