IELTS WRITING TASK 2 - AGREE/DISAGREE - RAVI TEJA MARTHA
In the future, nobody will buy printed newspapers or books because they will be able to read everything they want online without paying. Agree or Disagree?
“Information is wealth” and obviously lies in books, newspapers or magazines and
now-a-days more prevalently on the Internet. Reading printed newspapers, books
calls into question whether they are going to have an inevitable surge in the
reflexive years, as everybody is urging themselves; adopting to online without costing much, making value out
of it. I partially agree with the notion and elucidate my views in the forthcoming paragraphs.
On one hand, the unending saga of inventions in technology is reinforcing to
adopt an online platform for every snippet
of information. The Internet is captivating
not only readers but almost everybody ranging from school children to the working
class. In the world of scheduled calendars, it is time-saving and infinitely easier for the vast majority to read books and newspapers through a tablet or palm-sized phone than purchasing
the same from the vendors. Though books have been a source, essence of
knowledge from the medieval ages, yet sometimes mounting concern is the price,
which imparts a jolt then the subsequent move would be Google Books; epitomizing the shift the online could bring
in.
On the other hand, online learning which has been new normal today will have a catastrophic impact on young
prodigies minimizing the optic power and may even subject them to dizziness
when exposed over a prolonged time. No special interest or excitement can be laid
reading a book online, gist for the mastery of
subject/domain may be lost in no
time, especially for students and, is vice-versa reading a printed book. For
instance, down the line from century, reading printed books exemplified the
multi-dimensional characters of many eminent personalities and their
contributions have always been worthy besides exposing their glaring success.
To encapsulate, digitalization of books in the market already resulted to reverse the tide, yet it did not attract all the people, newspapers always shattered the glass ceiling reaching the top; Nevertheless game-changing reforms made by business tycoons. But however, in the reflexive years, some people may have changed in their tastes with growing age, affordability and cutting edge technology for millennium development goals.
