Some people say that the main environmental problem of our time is loss of particular species of plants and animals. Others say that there are more important environmental problems.

Discuss both these views and give your opinion.

Environment, the most essential term for human life plays a major role in the cycle of nature. These days the environmental conditions are degrading day by day, few of them say, extinction of species in biotic organisms is one of the causes. Others say that there are different environmental problems. I'm going to discuss both of them in my writeup.

On one hand, it is stated that, one of the causes for degradation of environment is the extinction of species and also getting endangered. Mostly, the life cycle of an animal or a plant depends on other species, when the species are getting endangered, the cycle is disturbed causing trouble to more organisms. This ensures that the  nature is unbalanced and also causing environmental problems.

On the other hand, there are various environmental problems too. Pollution is one of them which has highest proportion amongst others. Pollution is of different kinds, namely, air pollution, water pollution, noise pollution and others. Air pollution is caused by few industries, the things which are produced by the emission of pollutants and also by the vehicles, fuels like petrol and diesel cause pollution. Air pollution disturbs the gases present in the air leading to some dangerous problems. For instance, human beings may suffer from breathing problems like Asthma. Water pollution, which is also caused by industries, industries located on the banks of the rivers release all the waste into the water polluting the water bodies. This way the environment is disturbed. Noise pollution is also caused by industries and vehicles, which the habitat of birds and other small animals.

In my honest opinion, the majority of degradation of environment is caused by pollution. People must be aware about the alternatives regarding the things which effects the environment. They must know what is affecting, why is it affecting and also what are the circumstances of its affect. The major obstacles are vehicles and industries. Instead of 2 or 3 vehicles in a family, the whole family could use public transport, which reduces the harm to environment and also supports sustainable development. Industries must use eco-friendly things in the machinery and other tools. These are the two solutions which can reduce the global warming and prevent the ozone layer from further damage.
