All over the world, the rich are becoming richer and the poor are becoming poorer. What problems does this cause? How can we overcome the problems of poverty?

The wealthy people are getting wealthier and the condition of poor is worsening. This essay will discuss the major reasons for this phenomena and propose some measures to improve the situation.

Stats show that 95% of the worlds riches are controlled by 5% of the worlds population. This steep financial gap in sections of the society would cause social imbalance and further exploitation of the weaker section of the society. That is because the economy is concentrated only in the hands of a part of the society and it keeps rotating in the same loop.Due to this the interests of this part is prioritized and the interests of weaker sections are undermined. As a result,the needs of the poor are neglected and the condition of them degrades even more.

Other reason being that the global population is increasing at an alarming rate leading to a subsequent drop in the employment rate. The Government should take measures to provide minimum quality education to the economically deprived and create fair job oppurtunities for these people. Secondly the rich should do their part in the collective uplifting of the society. They should invest amount for developing infrastructure and providing basic utilities.

In conclusion, as the gap between the rich and the poor is increasing in some countries, the poor section of the society has to face major issues of ill-treatment and the balance of the society is also disturbed. To overcome this, the rich have to colloborate with the government, act wisely for the favour of all citizens.

Have you ever been to any island? Yes, I have! Actually, I lived on an island for 3 months back in 2016. My mother was offered to work at a resort for 2 years, so I joined them there for 3 months.  Isl and life was quite an interesting experience! Are there any islands in your country? Yes, there are. There is one famous island called X, famed for its  crystal clear  water and white sands. I’ve heard the pagodas are very interesting to visit there, as well.
