SHOPPING IS THE FAVORITE PASTIME FOR MOST OF THE YOUNG PEOPLE. WHY DO YOU THINK IS THAT? DO YOU THINK THEY SHOULD BE ENCOURAGED TO DO SOME USEFUL ACTIVITIES IN THEIR FREE TIME?

Growing consumerism and ease of shopping might be the two primary reasons for the juveniles, to get constantly involved in the zone of shopping. In this contemporary world, although fashion and clothing are being the most integral parts of every youngster’s life, at the same time, every individual should utilize his/her leisure time, profitably, which I will expound explicitly in my forthcoming paragraphs.

To commence with, as most of the present-day teenagers are always being highly conscious about their appearances, especially in public domains, purchasing fashionable and fancy clothes is becoming an indispensable daily grind for a major part of the youth. Firstly, social media is the utmost prime factor that influenced many of the young people’s mindsets and making them believe that they ought to look picture-perfect, all the time. For instance, nowadays, most youngsters are finding their happiness and pleasure in the number of likes and comments for the pictures that they shared on respective social media platforms. In addition to this, with the commencement of digital marketing, buying goods is no longer a bigger task, where people can sit at home, save their physical energies, and enjoy customer services.

However, the period of adolescence is the most significant time in everyone’s life, where the younger ones can pave the appropriate and effective path, for their better futures. Instead of persistently exhausting one’s energies in doing shoppings, a lad or lass can get some valuable spare time, which favors in not only enhancing his/her physical fitness by sporting but also, one can support his/her mental health performing brain exercises and having productive sessions with their parents, thereby becoming even more competitive, self-assured, and optimistic, in a true sense. Furthermore, in these leisure times, younger people should also be encouraged to commit volunteer social services to the poverty-stricken people, which undoubtedly aids them to rise as responsible citizens.

In conclusion, while it is certainly true that the young minds are getting fascinated towards frequent shopping, but, they shouldn’t squander much of their time and money on it, as a substitute, they can carry out various bodily exercises including sports, work on balancing the emotional control over their senses and feelings, effectively operate their energies and money on the essential things, which lead to owning the futures, they dreamt of.
