GLOBALISATION HAS MANY ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES. DISCUSS BOTH VIEWS  AND GIVE YOUR OPINION.

Globalization is defined as the interconnection and interaction of people across the world by means of goods and cultural exchange. Globalization has both positive and negative impacts on people's life which are discussed in the following passages.

        One of the biggest positive sides of globalization is exposure to world-class products and also the increase in the country's economy which can be in turn used for the development of education in rural areas. The second positive impact is that the awareness of vivid cultures in the different parts of the world which helps to maintain integrity among people. Globalization also helps in the sharing of ideas among a group of people and also awareness about what is happening in the world.  

        Even though globalization has many positive impacts, there are also some risks involved in this. Many people strongly believe that globalization is a threat to local businesses because of the increase of foreign goods. Local retailers are at a huge risk because there will be a downfall in their business. Local articrafts lose their importance because people show more interest in international products. Not only local businesses but there are also many other areas which get affected. For example, if a Hollywood movie is released in a local theatre, people are most likely to watch that movie instead of a local language movie which affects the regional movies.

        In conclusion, I would like to tell that globalization is good for the country's growth and on other hand, our own culture and inheritance should also be protected.

Have you ever been to any island? Yes, I have! Actually, I lived on an island for 3 months back in 2016. My mother was offered to work at a resort for 2 years, so I joined them there for 3 months.  Isl and life was quite an interesting experience! Are there any islands in your country? Yes, there are. There is one famous island called X, famed for its  crystal clear  water and white sands. I’ve heard the pagodas are very interesting to visit there, as well.
